Covid and Us
This Covid-19 stuff has been stressful. When Nugget was diagnosed with Autism I did not know exactly what this meant. I knew what Autism was and I knew that we were already dealing with behavior and sensory issues but I was unaware that there was potential for him to have immune system issues. We are going into year 3 of Pre K- ESE and the first two years taught us that the boy catches everything! The Corona has kept us inside for months. We have slowly started to venture out and resume a new "normal". Since March we have spent countless hours in the pool. Not only has he relearned how to swim and gained more confidence in the water but he now likes to hold onto your leg and touch the bottom of the pool in the shallow end. We have also crafted, colored, painted, started raising chickens, baked, cooked, played and played, and gone out on the boat.
